I Care 05:42
Am I living in a country where the people have forgotten The beauty of the land and the meaning of the stars? We're crowded into cities where the patterns are all broken Too many people trying to find out who they really are And parents have forgotten how to speak to their own children And the children have forgotten what it means to not be scared Our leaders are all busy polishing their egos And most folk leave them to it 'cause they just don't care But I care Yes, I care I care But it hurts, it hurts, yes, it hurts, but I'm happy Yes, it hurts, oh it hurts, Sometimes it hurts, but I'll be happy The animals are dying, 'cause the Spring has come too soon And big jet planes are flying all across the wounded sky Farmers are all praying to whatever gods they pray to That rains will come again and pile the harvest high And profiteers make profit on the back of every crisis And they build their castles strong behinds tall gates and barbed wire And slowly we awaken to how it's all connected And Science tries to figure out just how and why And I care I care I care But it hurts, yes it hurts, Oh, it hurts, but I am happy Yes, it hurts, oh it hurts, Sometimes it hurts, but I'll be happy Will you wake up and remember the future that we dreamt of When all was going well and progress was good It might be that I'm too small to get up and save the world But at least I can help out in the neighbourhood I care (do you? do you?) I care (do you? do you?) I care (do you? do you?) I care

Well, the story is told of a woman The story is told of a man Where they come from isn’t certain Or if they ever had a plan But they came together in a lovelight They celebrated every sensation They knew they were lovers in the moonlight And they felt the world was growing dark around them Well, a child was born in the Winter A light so sweet in the eyes But the lovers grew ever more distant What comes next is no surprise As they felt the world was growing dark around them And they could not find their way back to the Garden The child grew up from the lovelight Before long the lovers parted ways The child set out on a journey That would last until the end of days And they felt the world was growing dark around them And they could not find their way back to the Garden And they felt the world was growing dark around them And they could not find their way back to the Garden

Day Of Truce 05:52
we were making love on the day of truce in the human battle with the world, when the sun went down we glowed with light but nobody said a word, as the cannons cooled as the rifles slept, we looked out on the garden, and we struck our camp and we hit the road til we came upon the desert oh, the air was cleaner stars were brighter than any we had seen before, but we grew hungry, and some of us angry, as we scoured the fruitless floor, we found sand and we found rocks, but water was not there, and some of us lay down and wept in the crystal desert air: 'what have we won, what have we lost, have our battles been in vain? has mother earth turned her back? Will we ever see love again?' and then a voice arose within and everyone heard its truth: "let go your life, let go your greed, let go those things you do not need take your food, and take your drink, and let love take you, to the brink" on the day of truce as the weapons slept, music most strange was heard, and everyone sang along, though nobody knew the words, the rhythm falls upon your feet and moves you in the dance, and everyone you ever meet, you never meet by chance, put down your knives, your crosses too, put away your book, set aside your grievances, give back what you took, for there is time, and time again, the circle comes around, but nobody can ever live on broken dirty ground, so take your time and find your space and live within it whole and make love, and love your love, and make love your goal.

Arundhati 02:46
Arundhati, a queen of truth, says Ghandi get your gun the feral howl is getting louder as we find out what’s been done we can’t return to be with the beast no we can’t return to be with the beast precision poetry is not enough to fight genocide and progress have always gone side by side it’s a nightmare masquerading as a vision it’s a nightmare masquerading as a vision Ayeeeee A quarter-million Indian farmer suicides they take their own lives by drinking their own pesticide it’s a nightmare masquerading as a vision it’s a nightmare masquerading as a vision monoculture of the mind fevered by greed global corporations, corrupted profiteers it’s the silencing of love and compassion it’s the silencing of love and compassion Ayeeeee

I’ve seen the planet, what it looks like from space I’ve seen a million soldiers, blind duty and faith. I’ve seen the desert, it’s spreading in my heart I’ve seen the rainforest, it’s tearing me apart I’ve been happy, I’ve been sad, I’ve been sane, Maybe I’ve been mad. I’ve been chained, I’ve been free: I was, I am, and I will be I’ve seen the supermarket I’ve seen the shops, I’ve seen the one-way system, the one that never stops. I’ve seen the love of those who are afraid, I have made the mistake of being afraid. I’ve been happy, I’ve been sad, I’ve been sane, Maybe I’ve been mad. I’ve been chained, I’ve been free: I was, I am, and I will be [instrumental] I’ve seen the planet, what it looks like from space I’ve seen a million soldiers, blind duty and faith. I’ve seen the love of those who are afraid, I have made the mistake of being afraid. I’ve been happy, I’ve been sad, I’ve been sane, Maybe I’ve been mad. I’ve been chained, I’ve been free: I was, I am, and I will be.

Waking as the plane comes down, Another land, another town, Human beings everywhere, Where I am I just don’t care But what spirits are abroad tonight, A comic turn, a tragedy Some great historic plot or fight, A romance that just isn’t right The moon’s the moon, the stars will shine, The tide will turn and turn again Look near look far look all around, And listen for a magic sound I’m waiting for your coin to drop, I’m waiting for the Weaver’s spell How will I know your true true face? A touch, a sight, a sound – a smell? Out here in the mystery, I know that you are seeking me For I could be your journey’s end, Your resting place, your destiny But I could be just another stop, A temporary sanctuary On the road to who knows where, How can we know, what should we care? I’m waiting for your coin to drop, Waiting for the Weaver’s spell How will I tell your true true face? A touch, a sight, a sound – a smell? I’m waiting… Waking as the sun goes down, I get up and go out to town Where the people laugh and talk, That is where I want to walk I listen to the conversations, All of life is here tonight Individuals make a nation, You can laugh and you can fight I’m waiting for your coin to drop, Waiting for the Weaver’s spell How will I tell your true true face? A touch, a sight, a sound – a smell? I’m waiting…

Tsunami of Love, Tsunami of Love I want to be swept away by a Tsunami of Love I want to wake up in a nation, that’s coming to the realisation There’s no space between us all, the planet we call home is very small Yes I know you’ll call me a dreamer, I wish I was a powerful schemer I know you’ll say I’m a little naïve, but that won’t stop me ‘cos I want to believe in that Tsunami of Love, Tsunami of Love I want to be swept away by a Tsunami of Love The water’s bitter, the water’s cold, don’t let it get into your soul We’re being swamped in our daily lives, empty promises and glamorous lies I don’t think we can have it all like they want us to believe in the shopping mall I don’t wanna think, when I put on my shoes, that someone’s starving so that I can look cool Tsunami of Love, Tsunami of Love I want to be swept away by a Tsunami of Love When it comes you can't deny, there's no time to wonder why, It may leave you high and dry, there's only the land, the sea, the sky, The only good that can come of this, is what love can accomplish When we face our fate and help one another when we realise that we need each other Tsunami of Love, Tsunami of Love I want to be swept away by a Tsunami of Love Goodly people around the world, you see my foolish flag unfurled Come together, unite the nations, somewhere down the line we’re all relations I know I'm crazy, I must be mad, to think that all this fussin and fightin is bad Peace and harmony may just be a dream but there’s something swelling my little stream

I Have Found My Love, it keeps me going I'll do anything I can, to keep it flowing Everyday I rise, to a new beginning We are growing wise, together learning And I'll be with you If you'll be with me And together, we will find out What this love is all about When you find your love, it's like the sunshine Spread it all around, it's gonna be fine Every breath you take, can take you higher Don't wait for your Fate, light your own fire! Let your love shine through Don't need proof, it's true And around us we will find out Love is in and love is out When you find your love, it's like the sunshine Spread it all around, it's gonna be fine Every breath you take, can take you higher Don't wait for your Fate, light your own fire!

Blue Patches 03:29
I can't keep from crying sometimes No I can't keep from crying sometimes When the world gets on my mind I can't keep from crying sometimes And I can’t keep from lying sometimes When you ask me how I am and I say "fine" Maybe I'm just feeding you a line ‘Cause I can't keep from lying sometimes But I know we will be alright, it's only Life, I know Yes I know we will be okay, another day we'll grow But I know I will be alright, it's only Life, I know Yes I know I will be okay, another day we'll grow Can't keep from thinking sometimes Caught up inside my own rhymes Trapped like a train on the lines No, I can’t keep from thinking sometimes [instrumental] I can't keep from trying sometimes To reach out with my heart and with my mind Maybe it's just a waste of time, But I can't keep from trying sometimes. But I know I will be alright, it's only Life, I know Yes I know I will be okay, another day I’ll grow. But I know we will be alright, it's only Life, I know Yes I know we will be okay, another day we'll grow.

Why should I be sorry, yesterday is gone Nothing is forever, that is life's sweet song While we are together, living life today Don't wait for tomorrow, join the band and play But it’s hard, to think about the world, And what, what is going on To believe, in the future, I'm doing the best I can Nothing is forever, except for light and love The moment and its magic, the sunlight and the sun Every day a new day, rise above the past Today's the day we're serving, the first one and the last But it’s hard, to think about the world, And what, what’s going on To believe, in the future, I'm doing the best I can but it’s hard hard hard to break free free free yes it’s hard hard hard to break free and be free to be free [instrumental] I know you didn’t want me, but you couldn’t let me go Wanted what we used to have, though it wouldn't let us grow Then you gave me space to dance in, set me free to smile, Ride on gentle woman, keep your spirits high But it’s hard, to think about the world, And what, what went wrong But believe, in the future, Keep doing the best you can Keep doing the best you can

All I’ve got left is dust, all I’ve got left is dust, all I’ve got left is dust All I’ve got left is dust, all I’ve got left is dust, all I’ve got left is dust I wept, water flowing Tears came down, like a river Liquid eye, living streaming Bright and wet, soak my skin All I’ve got left is dust, all I’ve got left is dust, all I’ve got left is dust All I’ve got left is dust, all I’ve got left is dust, all I’ve got left is dust Endless sea, big waves rolling Mountain stream, running wild Waterfall, rainbow reaching Forest pool, mirror the sky Rain come down, from the heaven Wash me clean, clean away Fresh and green, new life growing Memories, of what will be All I’ve got left is dust, all I’ve got left is dust, all I’ve got left is dust All I’ve got left is dust, all I’ve got left is dust, all I’ve got left is dust So drink with me, this timeless liquid Raise your glass, spirit free Let me go, to the ocean River flow back to the sea All I’ve got left is dust, all I’ve got left is dust, all I’ve got left is dust All I’ve got left is … all I’ve got left is … all I’ve got left is …

Don't you cry, no don't you weep Don't you know, it's only sleep that you're needing Yes, and feeding, with love Feeding you with love, gathered from above Yes we've got enough, gathered from the earth Feeding you with love Don't you scream, don't shout Can't you see what it's about? Yes I'm bleeding, but I'm not leaving My love Don't you scream, don't shout Can't you see what it's about? Yes I'm bleeding, but I'm not leaving My love Feeding you with love, gathered from above Yes we've got enough, gathered from the earth Feeding you with love [instrumental] Feeding you with love, gathered from above Yes we've got enough, gathered from the earth Feeding you with love
